According to your faith be it unto you

And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us. And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.

God works in our lives according to our faith. What kind of faith do you have? In whom or in what do you place your faith?

What is true Biblical faith?

It is trust or confidence that is placed in Jesus Christ alone. It is not blind faith and it is not shallow. In its very essence it is substance and evidence.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1

Just how important is faith? Consider the following: 

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:8-10

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Hebrews 11:6

But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith

Galatians 3:11

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

For we walk by faith, not by sight:

How do we get this faith?

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
