Jesus is God

He cannot be only a man because he has no sin

“…for there is no man that sinneth not…”

I Kings 8:46

“And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and

in him is no sin.

I John 3:5

He cannot be only an angel because he is better than angels

“Being made so much better than the angels,

as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.”

Hebrews 1:4

He must be God because he is worshipped by men and angels

“For thou shalt worship no other god:

for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:”

Exodus 34:14

“…they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and

worshipped him:…”

Matthew 2:11

“And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith,

And let all the angels of God worship him.

Hebrews 1:6

He must be God because he is the Creator

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth

Genesis 1:1

All things were made by him;

and without him was not any thing made that was made.”

John 1:3

He must be God because he forgives sins

“And when he saw their faith, he said unto him,

Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.

And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying,

Who is this which speaketh blasphemies?

Who can forgive sins, but God alone?”

Luke 5:20,21

He must be God because he is eternal

“…even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.”

Psalms 90:2

“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.”

Revelation 22:13

He must be God because he has all power

“…I am the Almighty God,…”

Genesis 17:1

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,

All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.”

Matthew 28:18

He must be God because he never changes

For I am the LORD, I change not…”

Malachi 3:6

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Hebrews 13:8

He must be God because the Bible tells me so

“Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son,

and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is,

God with us.

Matthew 1:23

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and

the Word was God.

John 1:1

I and my Father are one.

John 10:30

“…God was manifest in the flesh,

I Timothy 3:16
